" Seoul City & Air Force continue 'K-Defense' wave… Triplet launches PoC for AI aircraft bird strike prevention solution "
Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Republic of Korea Air Force are supporting startups with AI technology in entering the defense sector, with Triplet selected as the matched technology company and launching a Proof of Concept (PoC).
Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that it selected matched technology companies through open innovation conducted with Seoul AI Hub, an AI startup incubation agency, and the Air Force. Triplet, a Seoul AI Hub resident company, will pursue collaborative development with the Air Force through this program.
This collaboration was initiated based on an MOU signed last November. The 'Air Force AI & New Technology Convergence Center' was established at the Seoul AI Hub anchor facility, supporting AI companies' entry into the defense sector.
The Air Force presented four technology requirements: △AI-based aircraft bird strike prevention solution △AI-based real-time interpretation system △AI-based synthetic data generation △Federated learning-based distributed learning solution. Among these, Triplet participates as the matched company for the AI-based aircraft bird strike prevention solution and pursues joint development.
Seoul Metropolitan Government signed a joint solution development agreement with Triplet, and the Air Force provides 10 million KRW in commercialization support funding for technology verification. A results presentation is scheduled for next month to share technology demonstration outcomes.
Based on the technology demonstration results, follow-up connections with defense-related government R&D projects and defense experiment programs are also planned. Through this, they aim to advance functionality and expand deployment across all military branches, leading to tangible commercialization outcomes.
