" Real-time congestion analysis at Seoul Cafe Show 2025 enhances visitor convenience… supports organizers' decision-making as a standard spatial intelligence model for MICE venues. "
AI spatial intelligence company Triplet provided real-time congestion analysis and management technology across the entire venue at the recently held Seoul Cafe Show 2025.
Built as part of the Korea Tourism Organization's AI-based integrated tourism innovation service 'AI Tour Butler,' this system goes beyond simple guidance to serve as an integrated management structure that predicts, adjusts, and communicates the entire visitor experience. The Korea Tourism Organization partnered with Triplet and other startups to introduce an AI guide that enhances the Cafe Show experience.
Triplet's DeepLounge AI detects real-time queues at three registration booths, as well as crowd density and movement flow across COEX Halls A through D. Analysis results are displayed to visitors through large digital signage and kiosks placed throughout the exhibition hall.
Given the Cafe Show's annual attendance of over 130,000 visitors, real-time congestion data and traffic guidance are key factors in the quality of the visitor experience. The system automatically provides information such as which entrance is least crowded, estimated wait times for entry, and the most efficient route for touring the halls. Visitors can focus on the booths and programs they want to see without feeling the burden of navigating crowded exhibition spaces.
Triplet's technology enhanced overall exhibition quality by supporting not only visitor convenience but also organizers' decision-making. The AI detected early signs of registration lines getting longer and suggested alternative routes before crowds converged on specific areas.
Triplet CEO Donghwa Shin stated, "AI is not a technology that stands at the forefront of exhibitions—it's a technology that quietly organizes the flow behind the scenes so people can see more comfortably and experience more deeply." He added, "Based on this demonstration, we plan to expand and apply a standardized spatial intelligence model to major MICE venues in Korea."
